Caring for your family while you are at work can be a challenge. Whether it is after-school care, caring
for a child who is home ill or the responsibility for aging loved ones, sometimes you need additional
support, even at a moment’s notice. MedStar Health provides all residents and fellows in training
programs at our hospitals a membership with Care.com. Care.com is a family care service that can help
you find caregivers for your family, including your child, parents/grandparents.

needs including care for an elderly adult, child, home, pet, or tutoring.
• Backup Care: last-minute caregiver for in-home or in-center childcare, or in-home adult care.
Caregivers in the backup care program have already been vetted and background checked.
