He is proud to have overseen the growth in the department over the past decade.
Dr. Davidson is an active member of Georgetown’s weekly multidisciplinary head and neck tumor conference. As a head and neck surgeon, Dr. Davidson utilizes this conference to meet with radiation therapists, medical oncologists, and radiologists to discuss each new patient in detail in order to determine the best plan for treatment. Multidisciplinary care can also include speech pathology, dental oncology, and audiology, as needed. Patients currently undergoing treatment and those with complex issues in follow up are also discussed by this team of experts to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
