About

Education

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery offers instruction to residents and medical students at four major hospitals in the region. We are committed to training exemplary future ear, nose, and throat surgeons in state-of-the-art surgical techniques. Visit Education for information on our Otolaryngology Residency Program and School of Medicine Clerkship programs.

Clinical Services

Our department provides care for approximately 30,000 outpatients, and collectively performs more than 3,000 surgeries annually. We use the latest stroboscopes and endoscopes for our evaluations. Learn about our physicians by visiting our Faculty page.

Research

Our attending physicians and residents are committed to research across many subfields of Otolaryngology. Residents are expected to complete an annual research project, and there is strong Departmental support to facilitate any resident research interest. PGY-3s enjoy a dedicated four-month research block. Visit our Research page to learn more.
