Meet our team of current residents!
Academic Structure
Residents participate in hands-on dissection and simulation courses, attend Grand Rounds, and engage in COCLIA, an interactive learning approach.
Research
Residents engage in a dedicated four-month research block during their PGY-3 year and complete an annual research project.
Residency Program
Our program includes clinical and surgical training at four hospitals in the DC metropolitan area, dedicated research time, and academic advancement in a collegial atmosphere.
How to Apply
MedStar Georgetown Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery participates with the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). All applications are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). To apply to our residency program, please submit all documents through ERAS.
Our Applicant Interview Selection Committee will begin reviewing applications in September. By October 31st, we will invite select prospective candidates via email to visit MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for a tour and personal interview. Generally, 2-3 interview dates are held in December and January.
